Mrs. Joanne Spence Lacy, 83, of Sheffield, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 27, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the Rouse Warren County Home.
Joanne was born in Kane on April 12, 1929, to the late Winfield and Carrie Simpson Spence.
Mrs. Lacy enjoyed traveling with her husband D.L. in their Winnebago with their camping club. She also enjoyed baking, making the best pies ever, but her greatest love was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Employed at Sylvania, she retired after 25 years service.
