Theodore Bedner, 93, of 130 Greeves St., passed away Saturday morning, March 30, 2013, at the Kane Community Hospital.
Born Nov. 23, 1919, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Rodensky) Bedner.
Prior to his retirement in 1988 he had been employed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Brenden Bedner and Leon (Betty) Bedner of Painted Post, N.Y.; and two grandchildren, Keely Bedner and Logan Bedner.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, John Bedner.
March 28th
Frances "Dolly" Imbrogno, 92, formerly of 113 Oak St., passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Lutheran Home at Kane where she was a resident.
Born Feb. 19, 1921, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Nicolazzo Cappello. On Aug. 24, 1940, in Kane, she married Joseph Imbrogno who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Imbrogno, a homemaker, was a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church and belonged to the former Altar Rosary Society. She also was a member of the AARP.

Alyssa Jean Forsyth, 18, of German Settlement Road, Ridgway, passed away March 26, 2013.Â
Born Dec. 10, 1994, in Bradford, she was a daughter of Susan Compton Trumbull and the late John Edward Forsyth.
Alyssa was employed at Arete in Daguscahonda. She loved spending time with her nephew William Trumbull and her niece Sierra Trumbull, both of Las Vegas, Nev., and her little cousin Chloe Hepfner of Port Allegany.
Margaret L. Carlson, 84, formerly of 1319 E. Main St., Bradford, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Hospice and Pallative Care Center in Cheektowaga, N.Y.
Born June 23, 1928, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Horrace J. and Anna M. (Becker) Washburn.
On May 3, 1947, in Bradford she married Curtis Carlson who died Feb. 2, 2012.
March 25th
Victor Daniel DiMaria passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013.
He was a resident of State College at the time of his passing.
He was the beloved son of Vincent III and Beth DiMaria; loving brother of Carolyn DiMaria Le and her husband Jonathan; and cherished grandson of Maxine and the late Vincent DiMaria and Madalyn and the late James Wallingford.

Teddy L. Nystrom, 77, of 382 Spring St., East Kane, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born Feb. 25, 1936, in Wetmore, he was a son of the late William and Blanche Swanson Nystrom. On June 25, 1960, in Johnsonburg, he married Patricia Baum who survives.
Ted was employed for over thirty years by the Kane Gas Company. He was a member of the VFW Post 6347 in Mt. Jewett and was an avid Tony Stewart fan. From 1955 to 1957 he served with the U.S. Army in Germany.
March 22nd
Grace Iva Oddy, 63, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at her residence in Ludlow.
Born May 20, 1949, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Alma Belle Houpt Graeser. On Jan. 30, 1969, in Philadelphia, she married Richard Oddy who survives.
Mrs. Oddy was a member of the Olivet Covenant Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.
George Lewis Hulings, Jr., 74, of James City, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Born Aug. 25, 1938, in James City, he was a son of the late George and Evelyn Confer Hulings. On Oct. 10, 1959, at the Church of God in James City, he married Barbara Bliss who survives.
George had been employed by Stackpole Carbon Co. in Kane and served in the National Guard.
He was baptized in faith at the First Baptist Church in Kane. As favorite pastimes, he enjoyed gardening and long walks in the woods with his faithful Yorkie, Sweetie Pie.
March 21st
Erie firefighters report the death of a woman on March 13 when a fire destroyed her home.
She was born on May 18, 1933 in Kane and is identified as Noreen Coleman Swift of the Summit area, daughter of the late Martin Coleman and the late Pauline Coleman of Kane.
Mrs. Swift attended Kane Schools and graduated from Kane High School and the St. Vincent School of Nursing.
She was the mother of seven children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
March 20th
Mary F. Walters, 77, of 79 Stanton Brook Rd., Smethport, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at her residence.
Born June 29, 1935, in Halton, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Winifred Campbell Myers. On Oct. 8, 1955, she married Arthur C. Burt who preceded her in death. On Sept. 11, 1981, she married Howard "Joe" Walters who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Walters, a homemaker, was a member of the Johnsonburg VFW, the American Legion in Crosby, the Kane Eagles Auxiliary and the Wilcox Sportsman's Club.
