Derek M. Wilson, 29, of Fort Collins, Colo., formerly of Kane, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, Feb. 25, 2014 at his home.

Doris M. Srock, 90, formerly of Yarnall Street, then Central Towers, Kane, died early Tuesday morning, Feb. 25, 2014 at The Lutheran Home at Kane, where she resided the past few months.
Born April 22, 1923 in Houtzdale, she was the daughter of Gordon and Mary Mays Haines.Â On Sept. 21, 1943 in Houtzdale, she married Richard C. Srock, who died in 1997.
Mrs. Srock had worked in retail, mostly for the former Broadbent-Stiteler in Kane, for many years.
Judith Ann Raymondo, 75, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 in Alamogordo, N.M.
She was born June 13, 1938 in Bradford.
Services will be held at a later date.
The Raymondo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation has taken place at PCS.

Thomas R. Jones, 77, of 309 Greeves St., died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Born Aug. 11, 1936, in Kane, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Gertrude Zilkofski Jones.Â On Aug. 26, 1992, at the First United Methodist Church in Kane, he married Jan Erickson who survives.
Tom served in the U.S. Army and attended college at Williamsport for two years.Â He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and also belonged to the Kane Fish and Game Club. Before his retirement, he was employed at Stackpole.
Donald Morris Smith, 77, Brockway, Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born Jan. 14, 1937 in Leeper, son of the late Floyd and Ruth Elizabeth Penfield Smith. He married Donna Fox Smith, she preceded him in death in 2003.
He was a graduate of North Clarion High School, was in the U.S. Army, and was a manager for Bentz Furniture store in St. Marys for many years. He was a member of VFW in Kane and Crenshaw. He lived in Leeper than Kane before moving to Brockway seven years ago.
Donald Kaltenbach, 89, of 10 Division St., Mt. Jewett, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Born July 13, 1924, in Mt. Jewett, he was a son of the late Harry and Irene Scott Kaltenbach.Â He was raised by his grandmother, Blanche Goodman. On April 29, 1950, in Hazel Hurst, he married Jeanette Rosenswie who preceded him in death in 2008.
Mr. Kaltenbach was a logger who worked as a logging contractor for various companies in the area.
He served with the U.S. MarinesÂ atÂ the battle of Iwo Jima andÂ is one of the few surviving veterans of that battle in this area.
Joe L. "Slim" Garris, 44, of 130 Greeves St., Kane, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at his residence.
Born June 25, 1969 in Kane, he was the son of Clyde L. and Janice M. Carlson Garris.Â
Joe was a carpenter for Garris Construction for many years.Â A trivia-lover, he enjoyed watching sports and spending time with friends and family at the family camp.
Roger Crate II, 24, of 24 Chestnut St., Mt. Jewett, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 at his residence.
Born Jan. 14, 1990, in Titusville, he was a son of Roger Crate and Laura Boedecker Conner.
Roger had been employed by Bradybaugh Logging and Sluga Logging.
Richard A. Arthurs, 54, of 2666 Campbelltown Rd., died Wednesday, Feb, 5, 2014 at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh.
Born March 16, 1959, in Kane, he was a son ofÂ the late Stanley and Anna Lou Lilley Arthurs.
Mr. Arthurs resided in Hazel Hurst until his later years when he moved to the Mt. Jewett area.Â He had been employed at the McKean County Landfill until he became ill.
Jack C. Bryington, 88, of 193 Clarion Street in Wilcox, died early Sunday morning, Feb. 2, 2014 at the Kane Community Hospital.
Born Sept. 8, 1925 in Wilcox, he was the son of Conard G. and Katherine E. Nichols Bryington.Â On Oct. 9, 1947 in Johnsonburg, he married Mary K. Kearney, who survives.
Jack was an ironworker for Local 772 of the Bridge Ornamental and Structural Ironworkers of American for 30 years, retiring in 1980.
