Robert J. Williamson, 49, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Kane, died Tuesday morning, Sept. 23, 2014 at Plantation General Hospital, Plantation, Fla.
Born Dec. 17, 1964Â in Kane, he was the son of Robert J. and Joann J. Jackson Williamson.
An avid Pirates and Steelers fan, Rob played quarterback for Lock Haven University for a year, and was chosen to play quarterback in the Big 30 Charity Football Classic.
A memorial service will be held for Larry Keyser, of Division Street Extension in Mt. Jewett, who died on Aug. 24, 2014, at the Mt. Jewett American Legion on Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Cam Mealy, pastor of the Mt. Jewett Assembly of God will be officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc.
Paul E. Mallery, 55, of Hudsonville, Mich., died Saturday Sept. 13, 2014.
Born March 16, 1959, he was a son of John L. and Jean E. Wormuth Mallery. On Nov. 22, 1986, in Watertown, N.Y., he married Tina Orvis, who survives. They were married 27 years.
His caring, compassionate heart, sense of humor, and willingness to always listen, touched the lives of many.Â Memories of his singing, prayer, fun and laughter will always be cherished as well as his mission to show people his love of savior and help them experience the kingdom through his selfless actions and teachings.
Marjorie E. Anderson, 93, of 501 Greendale Rd., Kane, died early Sunday morning, Sept. 14, 2014 at the Kane Community Hospital.
Born April 2, 1921 in Advance Mills, Va., she was the daughter of W.O. and Bertha Dickerson Estes.
On May 11, 1948 in Atlantic, Va., she married Ben W. Anderson, who died in 1998.
Marjorie graduated from the University of Virginia Nursing School and had worked as a registered nurse. SheÂ was a member ofÂ the First Church of God in Kane.
Patricia Halloran, 83, formerly of 53 Eagle St., Salamanca, N.Y., died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 at Blossom Hill in Huntsburg, Ohio following a lengthy illness.
Born on May 4, 1931 in Olean, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine McGurn Halloran.
She was employed as a receptionist for Dr. Paul Sum until her retirement. Previously, she had been employed at the Erie Infants Home, the former Salamanca District Hospital, and as a receptionist Dr. Howard Scholl.
ThomasÂ A. Anderson, 78, aÂ former resident of 345 Kinzua Ave. in Kane, died of lung cancer on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014.
Mr. Anderson was schooled at Clay Street School and the Kane Area High School. Upon graduation he immediately entered the U.S. Navy and stayed 22 years, retiring as a Chief Yeoman. His military career found him at locations on the U.S. east coast and around the Mediterranean Sea.
Patricia Halloran, 83, of Salamanca, N.Y., died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 at the Blossom Hill Care Center, Huntsburg, Ohio.

Lynda M. Pontzer, 67, of 500 Spruce St., St. Marys, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at Penn Highlands Elk.
She was born Jan. 26, 1947, a daughter of the late Edward and Orma Nicklas Pontzer.
Lynda graduated from ECCHS and received her bachelor's degree from Mercyhurst University. She then received two master's degrees from the University of Arizona, one in art history and another in English. In her early years, she taught in Denmark, Scotland and Iran. She often substituted in our local schools, and greatly enjoyed teaching children to paint.
Ronald J. Smith, Jr., 54, of 6 Wetmore Trail near Kane, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Sept. 2, 2014 at the Kane Community Hospital.
Born June 18, 1960 in Brookville, he was the son of Ronald J. and Patricia R. Riggs Smith. On June 2, 1979 in Kane, he married Lisa A. Bauerle, who survives.
Clarence W. "Duke" Eckert, 89, of 104 Forest Avenue, died Monday (Sept. 1, 2014) at Sena Kean Manor.
Born Oct. 16, 1924, in Elk County, he was a son ofÂ the late Anthony and Julia Brendel Eckert.Â On May 26, 1950, in Kane, he married Rose Trumbull who survives.
"Duke" served with the U.S. Air Corps during World War II.
HeÂ was a Millwright and had worked at various times for HBSA Industries in Brooklyn, N.Y., the McKean County Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Affiliated Industries in Kane, J.R. Kilmer Wholesale Groceries and St. Marys Sewer Pipe Company in St. Marys.
