Deloris M. Farnsworth, 79, of 9106 Route 6, near Lantz Corners, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 26, 2015 at her residence. Arrangements, in care of the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc., are incomplete and will be announced.
Richard T. "Dick" Buhl, 69, of 441 Maple St., Kane, died Monday morning, Jan. 26, 2015 at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie.
Born May 13, 1945 in Kane, he was the son of Myron O. and Sarah K. Smathers Buhl. On Nov. 19, 1985 in Little Rock, Tenn., he married Patricia A. Lawrence, who survives.
Dick served in the Army National Guard, and was a boilermaker for Nooter in St. Louis, part of the National Transit Lodge union in Kansas City.
He was a member of the former Moose Club in Kane, and enjoyed watching dirt track racing.
Mary Jane Leibfried, 83, formerly of Mt. Jewett, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 at Sena Kean Manor in Smethport.
Born Feb. 18, 1931 in Hazel Hurst, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Susie Greeley Reinard.Â
Mary Jane, who spent most of her life living in York, worked as a cook at the West York VFW and Sowers Restaurant. Upon returning to the Mt. Jewett area, she volunteered at the Mt. Jewett Senior Center.
Walter E. Perry Jr., 83, of 326 Park Ave., Kane, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Born July 30, 1931, in Smethport, he was a son of the late Walter and Ruby Shuey Perry. He was married in Hermosa Beach, Calif. to Mary Ellen Prowse who preceded him in death.
Mr. Perry was a mechanical engineer for Hughes Aircraft. He was a member of the VFW Lodge #1132 in Kane and also belonged to the National Rifle Association.

Walter Perry, 83, of 326 Park Ave. died early Wednesday morning, Jan. 21, 2015 at UPMC-Hamot in Erie. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Cummings Funeral Home, Inc.
Robert L. Jones, 83, of 100 High Point Dr. and formerly of 326 Chase St., died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at Kane Community Hospital.
Born Aug. 27, 1931, in Johnsonburg, he was a son ofÂ the late Lawrence and Gertrude Zilkofski Jones. He was married to Jean Hurley Jones who preceded him in death in 1999.
Bob served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Before his retirement, he was employed by Stackpole.
Kimberly Ann Spicer, 45, of Marienville, died unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at UPMC Hamot.
She was born July 8, 1969, in Erie. On June 24, 1989, in Kane, Andy Spicer and Kimberly wed. She was the daughter ofÂ Robert and Lavina Curtis Carlson of Kane.
Kimberly was a medical assistant for the Warren Medical Group. She was a member of the Word of Grace Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Tionesta.
Carl O. Stranburg, 77, of Grove City, Ohio, and formerly of Warren, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 with his family present.
Carl was born Dec. 14, 1937, son of the late Carl J. (Jip) and Myrtle Bengston Stranburg. He was born and raised in Tiona.
He wasÂ employed by Struthers Wells until its closing, and also the Warren County Courthouse.
Carl was an avid fisherman, hunter, and Steelers fan. He loved his hunting camp on Six-Mile. Carl served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962. He enjoyed spending time with his buddies at the American Legion Post 135 and the Sheffield VFW.
Barbara Kay Anderson, 78, of Manassas, Va. died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at her residence.
She was born March 1, 1936 in Mt. Jewett, daughter of the late Melvin and Lydia (Peterson) Edinger. She was a member of Manassas St. Thomas United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Anderson; and siblings Bernice George, Donald Edinger and David Edinger.
