Mary Ann Bennett, 80, of 2 Greeves St., Kane, formerly of DeYoung, died unexpectedly Monday evening, April 28, 2014 at the Kane Community Hospital. Arrangements, in the care of the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc., are incomplete and will be announced.

Emma Jean Carlson

Emma Jean Carlson, 84, of 215 Park Ave., died Friday, April 25, 2014 at Kane Community Hospital.
Born Feb. 26, 1930, in James City, she was a daughter of Harry and Hazel Smith Bouch. She was married to Walter N. Carlson who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Carlson, a homemaker, was a member of Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a former member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Eva Caribardi

Eva Caribardi, 91, of 296 Fairview Ave., Johnsonburg, died Friday morning, April 25, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
Born March 4, 1923 in Johnsonburg, she was the daughter of Gennaro and Frances Chirillo Aiello. On Oct. 9, 1940 in Johnsonburg, she married James Caribardi Sr., who survives.
Eva was a devout member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she founded the committee to prepare funeral dinners. She carried on her mother's tradition of the Feast of the Annunciation with a 365 bead Rosary.

Eva M. Caribardi, 91, of 296 Fairview Ave., Johnsonburg, died Friday morning, April 25, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Johnsonburg at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 28 with Father Brian E. Vossler, pastor of St. Leo Magnus Parish in Ridgway, as Celebrant.
A complete obituary will appear in Monday's edition. Arrangements are in the care of the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane.

Isabelle Lucille Carlson

April 23, 2014

Isabelle Lucille Carlson, 88, of 9716 Rte. 6, died early Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
She was born Feb. 26, 1926 in Kane, to the late David and Florence Johnson Bloomquist. On March 15, 1943, she eloped and married the love of her life, Richard W. Carlson, who survives.
Issy was a beloved wife of 17 years and was a great homemaker who sold Dutchmaid Clothing for years. She was a member and a lay minister for many years at St. John's Episcopal Church in Kane.

Maryellen "Gabby" Morris

Maryellen "Gabby" Morris, 76, of 100 Kentucky Ave., James City, died Friday evening, April 18, 2014 at the Kane Community Hospital.
Born Aug. 24, 1938 in Coal Mine, she was the daughter of Frederick E. and Doris E. Oyler Edinger. On Nov. 24, 1955, she married Lloyd G. "G-man" Morris, who survives.
Gabby, a well-known CB radio enthusiast, was a lifetime member of the Highland Township Fire Department and was awarded Citizen of the Year in Kane in 1985 after the tornado.

Micheal Bush, 34, of Clarendon, died at 8:40 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 in St. Vincent’s Health Care following an extended illness.
He was born April 4, 1980 in St. Marys to John H. and Carolyn S. Blankenship Bush Sr. of Kane.

Howard Sidney Graham

Howard Sidney Graham, 86, of Route 6, Kane, and formerly of Milford, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at his residence.
Born Jan. 28, 1928 at the family farmhouse in Cairo, N.Y., he was a son of  the late Claude and Edith Howard Graham. On July 22, 1957, in Yonkers, N.Y., he married Ann Gezirjian who survives.
Mr. Graham was a member of the Kane Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and served as an elder for many years in Port Jervis, N.Y., Monroe, N.Y. and Milford, as well as in Kane. He was in charge of building two Kingdom Halls, one in Monroe, N.Y. and the other in Milford.
