Mary Madeline McClelland, 68, of 7 Bridge St., Mt. Jewett, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born Jan. 26, 1943, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Tony and Gladys Corneilous Cesario.
Mrs. McClelland, a homemaker, was a member of the Hazel Hurst United Methodist Church.
Betty M. Lindsey, 81, of 604 Welsh St., Kane, died Saturday evening at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Madeline Elizabeth (Moran) Hazlett, 80, beloved wife of Wendell Hazlett, died July 19, 2011, at her home in Leesburg, Va.Â She had been ill for quite some time.
She was born July 21, 1930, at James City, the fifth of nine children of Martin and Nina Moran. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Margaret (Bob) Sproull, Helen Ahlers, Mabel Scruton; and one brother, Sam (Carol) Moran. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Jane Nash McDermott, 91, of 115 Edgar James St., Kane, passed away July 21, 2011 at her residence. Jane was born in Bradford, the daughter of former attorney Francis M. and Marie E. Nash on Sept. 5, 1919. On April 23, 1949 she married Edward T. McDermott of Kane.Â

Donald Wayne Olson, 81 of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away on July 18, 2011 from complications of pneumonia.
He was born April 25, 1930, and was the only son of Harold and Mary (Hagey) Olson of Kane, Pennsylvania. Don was a graduate of Kane High School and Willamsport Technical School. Don served in the United States Navy for four years. He retired from Struthers Wells Corporation in Warren after 25 years as a project engineer.
Mae J. Miller, 85, of 5034 Highland Rd., near Kane, died Saturday evening, July 16, 2011 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie following a brief illness.
Born March 5, 1926 in Kane, she was the daughter of Robert E. and Ruby M. Nystrom Hadfield. In 1947, she married Cyril Gabriel, who died in 1964; and in 1972, she married Earl Miller, who also preceded her in death.
A 1944 graduate of Kane Area High School, Mrs. Miller was a clerk at the former A&P store in Kane for over 30 years, and later for the Quick Stop Market for over 20 years.
Robert W. Barber, 86, of Mt. Jewett, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 12, 2011, at his residence.Â
Mr. Barber was born on July, 5, 1925 in Hazelhurst, the son of Ernest and Nellie Grimm Barber. He attended school in Hazelhurst and is a Methodist by faith.
A veteran of World War II, he was a seaman first class aboard the USS Spica and served in the South Pacific from July 1943 through September 1946.
Mr. Barber is survived by his wife of 58 years, the former Gloria Peters whom he married on Nov. 22, 1952 at St. Josephâ€™s Catholic Church in Mt. Jewett.
John E. Gentilman, 91, formerly of 536 Park Ave., Kane, died Monday morning, July 11, 2011 at The Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born Aug. 22, 1919, he was the son of Vincent and Theresa Ventri Gentilman.
Mr. Gentilman was a state policeman in the Kane area for over 20 years.Â Earlier, he served in the U.S. Army Engineers during WWII.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, VFW #1132 in Kane, and Kane Lodge #566, F&AM.
Surviving are a son, John J. Gentilman of Kane; a sister, Helen Zicek of Frederick, Md., and several nieces and nephews.
