Myron Francis Jolly

Myron Francis Jolly, 88, formerly of 101 Hemlock Ave., died Sunday morning, Sept. 11, 2011, at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born June 19, 1923, in DeYoung, he was a son of the late M. Dewitt and Edith Robinson Jolly. On Sept. 21, 1946, at St. Callistus rectory, he married Dorothy Jeanne Eliason.
Mr. Jolly loved flying and was in the Army Air Corps, U.S. Air Force and the PA National Guard Reserve, serving 24 years total. He retired as Captain in 1983.  He had retired from Stackpole Carbon Company (Ceramagnet Div.) in 1982.

Kim Causer

Kim Causer, 55, of 381 Dewey Ave., Hazel Hurst, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at her residence.
Born April 26, 1956, in Kane, she was a daughter of Tony and Gladys Corneilous Cesario. On Sept. 13, 1980, in Mt. Jewett, she married Paul Causer who survives.
Mrs. Causer was a member of the United Methodist Church and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary. She had been employed as a baker at Mike’s Shursave.

Kim Causer, 55, of 381 Dewey Rd., Hazel Hurst, died Friday afternoon at her residence following a lengthy illness. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc.

Nedra A. Blauser

September 10, 2011

Nedra A. Blauser, 54, of 415 Short St., Johnsonburg, formerly of Ludlow, died Friday morning, Sept. 9, 2011 at her residence.
Born Dec. 27, 1956 in Kane, she was the daughter of Neil E. and Phyllis J. Donahey Davidson.
A member of the former Church of the Nazarene in Kane, she had worked at Buffalo China in Warren, and as a cook and waitress at The Whirl in Ludlow and Colonial Inn near Kane.

Mildred C. (Monagan) Emanuelson

Mildred C. (Monagan) Emanuelson, 98, of Hudson, N.H., passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2011 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.
Mildred was born in Rew City on May 1, 1913, a daughter of the late Dr. William and Bessie (Hopkins) Monagan.
She was the widow of the late Axel Emanuelson. Mildred was a resident of Kane for more than 30 years moving to New Hampshire in 1978 when she retired from Stackpole Carbon Company. 

Francis L. Fleming

Francis L. Fleming, age 81, of Henrietta, N.Y. and formely of Mt. Jewett, died on Sept. 7, 2011.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Laura Lee; parents Thomas and Alice; and by five sisters.

Helen Kerekanich Stromberg, 76, of Sarasota, Fla., passed away Aug. 5, 2011.
Helen was born in Kane on May 26, 1935 to the late Charles (Mary) Kerekanich. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold "Curley" Stromberg.

Mary D. Keisling, age 61, of Carnegie, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011. Beloved wife of Christopher H. Keisling; loving mother of Lisa Swartwood, Lauri Robinson, Tami Baum, Gina Santavicca, and Casey Keisling; sister of Karen Simons, Bruce Sherwood, Brenda Vaughn, and Charles Sherwood; also survived by six grandchildren, Michael Sivak, Christina Baum, Amanda Zampogna, Cody Baum, Emily Bernhard and Matthew Dean; and three great-grandchildren, Mya Berry, Choloe Baum and Serenity Markert.

June E. Boschert, 87, of 104 Whiterock Ave., died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born Jan. 20, 1924, in Ridgway, she was a daughter of James L. and Rhoda C. Johnson Bryington. On Oct. 31, 1953, in Johnsonburg, she married Norman S. Boschert who survives.
Mrs. Boschert attended Emmanuel Mission Covenant Church where she also was a member of the Golden Links.
She had worked at Stackpole in both Johnsonburg and Kane.

George E. Petrisek, 75, of Genesee, formerly of Port Allegany, died unexpectedly at home on Aug. 5, 2011. A celebration of George's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 in the VFW Hall, 4743 Route 155, Port Allegany. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the Star Hose Fire Company, 65 W. Maple St., Port Allegany. Memorials may be made to the S. W.
