Jane C. Lundgren

Jane C. Lundgren, 84, of 130 Greeves St., formerly of Birch Street, both in Kane, died Sunday morning, Nov. 14, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.
Born Jan. 19, 1926 in Kane, she was the daughter of Charles O. and Svea C. Hultin Johnson. On May 3, 1948, she married Herbert C. Lundgren, who died in 1998.
She was a member of Tabor Ev. Lutheran Church in Kane, and had worked as a nurses aid at The Lutheran Home at Kane.

Bonnie L. "Tubby" Weirich

Bonnie L. "Tubby" Weirich, 81, formerly of Walnut Street, Kane, died on her birthday Thursday morning, Nov. 11, 2010 at The Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born Nov. 11, 1929 in Wellsville, N.Y., she was the daughter of Wayne and Bernice Walker Weirich. 
A 1947 graduated of Kane Area High School, she worked for the Kane Shirt Factory briefly, then for Stackpole in Kane for 37 years. 
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kane, the Women's Bowling League for over 40 years and enjoyed her card clubs, friends and her dogs. She also volunteered at The Lutheran Home at Kane.

Clayton F. Austin, 73, of 6732 Highland Rd., Kane, died Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 9, 2010 as a hospice patient at his home after suffering a recent stroke. 
Born June 15, 1937 in Ceres, he was the son of Erwin L. and Martha V. Taylor Austin. For 49 years he was married to the former Judy M. Orcutt, who he married on Nov. 11, 1961 at Tabor Lutheran Church in Kane.

Raymond David Asp, 87, of Ellettsville, Ind., went to be with his Lord on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 after an brief illness.

Donald Paulson

Donald Paulson, 85 of 58 Venetian Parkway, Lake Placid, Fla., died early Friday morning, Nov. 5, 2010. Born June 4, 1925, he was the son of Algott Paulson and Emma Smith.
Donald was the former owner of Don Paulson Trucking in Mt. Jewett for many years and a retired employee of the United State Postal Service office in Mt. Jewett. He served in the U.S. Army during world war to in both France and Germany.

Mr. Robert W. “Bob” McMillen, Sr., 68, peacefully passed into the next life in Hamot Medical Center, Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at 2:50 am following a cerebral-vascular event.

Michael J. Gelsick, 82, formerly of Wilcox, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, in the Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys.
He was born Nov. 27, 1927, in Rasselas, son of the late Peter and Katherine Gomola Gelsick.

Francis L. "Doc" Fleeger

Francis L. "Doc" Fleeger, Sr.,  83, of 28 Virginia Ave., James City, died early Thursday morning, Oct. 28, 2010 at the Kane Community Hospital.
Born Feb. 9, 1927 in Butler, he was the son of Floyd and Kathryn McAnallen Fleeger. On July 11, 1958 in Kane, he married Cleo M. Swedenhjelm, who died in 1997.
Mr. Fleeger was a fork lift driver at Stackpole Corp. in Kane for over 20 years.
He was a member of the VFW #1132 and the Loyal Order of Moose, both in Kane, the Kane Fish & Game Club and the Hi-La Sportsman's Club in DeYoung.

A. Darlene Moore

A. Darlene Moore, 58, of 8495 Route 6, Kane, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Oct. 26, 2010, at her residence.
Born June 6, 1952 in Brookville, she was the daughter Dale E. and Martha J. Young Moore. 
A graduate of Johnsonburg High School, she worked for Kane Manufacturing as a die setter for over 15 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Kane.
Surviving are her mother, with whom she lived; a sister, Marsha McClintick of Ridgway; a brother, J. Randy Moore of Evans City; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Raymond L Stidd

Raymond L Stidd, 60 of Oakdale, died suddenly on Oct. 20, 2010. He was raised in the Mt. Jewett and Lantz Corners area, and graduated from Smethport High School. He was the son of Lewis Stidd of Mt. Jewett, and Ginger (Anderson) Stidd, also of Mt. Jewett, and was the beloved husband of Frances (Case) Stidd of 33 years. Ray leaves behind a daughter, Tammy (Bob) Mersing of Oakdale; a son.
