COUDERSPORT – The Kane Wolves took to the road Friday to take on a good Coudersport Falcon squad coming off a 35-point win last week against Johnsonburg.
With threat of a storm around the area their was a little concern that the game would even be able to be played. But the skies stayed clear and made for a great night for football. The Wolves and Falcons wouldn't let anyone down as the crowd was treated to a good game.
The Kane Lady Wolves brought home a sweep of the DCC Cardinals to even their record at 1-1.
The Wolves never let DCC take control of any games as they defeated them in three 25-14, 25-17, 25-15.
"We played a little methodically but a little lax at times but we got the job done and managed to stay in control of the match," said Kane head girls varsity volleyball coach Judy Kessler. "At some point in each game, we took over and ran up points to finish the games strongly."
With more consistent passing and aggressive serving and attacking, the Lady Wolves showed their potential.
