The Kane Lady Wolves got back on track (3-5) with a sweep of DCC in the Wolves’ Den Thursday night. They took the Cardinals in three straight 25-8, 25-15, and 25-15.
It was nice to have the win tonight just to keep up the confidence," said Kane head girls volleyball coach Judy Kessler. "We’ve been playing hard but coming up short this season so tonight the girls knew they were going to press for the win. We played well and had a chance to practice a bunch of offensive plays."
The Kane Wolves soccer team was back in action on Thursday afternoon to take on a very strong Brockway Rovers team. The field conditions were very soggy and muddy due to all the recent precipitation. The less than perfect playing surface did not slow Brockway down as they managed to find the net three times in the first half. Kane had a few opportunities to score, but the Brockway defense held Kane down for the most part.
