On a less than suitable day for a track meet the Kane Lady Wolves put together one of the best team performances of the year by bringing home a second place trophy at the Kane Invitational Track Meet this past Saturday.
Kane only won one event on the day but had some great team showings in several events.
"This young team continues to achieve great things both on the track and in the field with our second place finish in AA schools," said Kane head coach Jim Sirianni.
On a very dreary day the Kane Invitational track meet was held this past Saturday. The Kane boys track team finished with 65 points, which was good enough for runner-up honors to Port Allegany’s 67 points, who won the team championship.Â
