In a game that was like night and day, the Smethport Lady Hubbers proved why they are one of the top teams in the area as they pounded their way to a 19-5 win over the Kane Lady Wolves.
The first three innings belonged to pitcher Kyla Hoag as she struck out five batters and held the powerful Lady Hubbers to only one run.Â
Kane got off to a good start as they responded to Smethport's run in the top of the first with a run of their own as Hoag worked a walk then proceeded to steal second and third and came home as Kaila Jamerson hit a grounder to second.Â
