The Kane Lady Wolves softball team ran into a Curwensville team that hit the ball well Monday. They had an inside the park home run and a 2-run shot that cleared the fences.Â
In the second inning the visitors sent 11 batters to the plate and scored six runs while holding Kane scoreless through the first two innings to jump out to a comfortable 7-0 lead.
Curwensville added four more runs in the third to increase the lead to 11-0 as eight more batters came to the plate with the big blow being a home run over the center field fence.
