The Kane Lady Wolves defeated the Ridgway Lady Elkers in four games on Tuesday in the Wolves’ Den.
Kane won easily in game one by a score of 25-12. Game two was a much closer affair, as the home team rallied for the 25-20 win. The visitors took game three as Kane struggled with their passing and communicating. Kane head coach Judy Kessler’s team then regrouped to take a marathon game four by a score of 30-28, winning the match.
The St. Marys Area Dutch soccer team added another win to their season record on Tuesday afternoon, shutting out the Kane Wolves 4-0 at the SMAHS soccer field.
"I'm happy for the kids. We were able to score four goals, which was tied with our season high so far," said St. Marys Area coach Russ Micale. "They played a good, solid game the whole time. I'm proud of them."
