Fall is a great time of the year for photography with the changing of the leaves, the brisk air, and time for a trip down to elk country. I write about the Pennsylvania Elk quite often, mainly because I find them one of the better photo opportunities in the area. I just canâ€™t get enough of them. I know some residents of the Benezette area arenâ€™t too thrilled about the fall season. The Elk rut attracts countless sightseers, the traffic, the noise, and yes, those pesky wildlife photographers.
The Kane Wolves were firing on all cylinders last Friday night as they defeated the Johnsonburg Rams by a score of 41-0. The Wolves amassed 470 yards on offense while the defense pitched their first shutout of the season.

With the win, the Lady Wolves improve to 9-4 on the season with three matches left on the schedule.
The Kane Lady Wolves soccer team outshot the visiting Brockway Rovers on Tuesday afternoon but had a hard time finding the back of the net and ended up losing 5-2 in their first of three home games in three days.

The Kane Lady Wolvesâ€™ volleyball team held its annual varsity tournament on Saturday in the Wolvesâ€™ Den. The Lady Wolves dominated their half of the bracket in the round robin, sweeping Smethport, Curwensville, and Brockway and splitting with Brockway to earn the top seed going into the playoffs from their bracket.
The Kane Wolves and Johnsonburg Rams both entered Friday nightâ€™s game coming off of huge, emotional wins last week but it was the Wolves who pulled away with a 41-0 shutout victory.
