In Part I of my adventure of searching for my first ever sighting of a Snowy Owl, I had gotten many reports of owl sightings in the area. The most credible were the sightings of many owls at Presque Isle State Park in Erie. In late December of 2012 I had driven to Presque Isle for a possible sighting, only to return home cold, wet, and without any visual evidence of any Snowy Owls in the park. By January of 2013 owl sightings were not even mentioned by any media, or for that fact, any local bird clubs. I gave up my quest for the owls, and moved on to other projects.

CLARION – Clarion-Limestone’s size and experience was just too much for the Kane girls’ basketball team to handle as the Lady Lions defeated the Lady Wolves 53-32 in the D9 AA semifinals on Thursday night at Clarion University.
