The Kane boys’ track team will be coming into this season as the defending District IX Champions. Whenever you are coming off a successful season like last year, it usually means a rebuilding year. Kane will definitely be in that process in a lot of events.

WEXFORD – “We were just outclassed.”
That’s how Kane coach Dave Kiehl described Friday’s 67-16 loss to Seton-LaSalle in a Class AA state girls basketball playoff game here at North Allegheny High School.
Seton-LaSalle, the defending Class AA state champion, dominated with a smothering full-court zone press for three quarters. Kane had major trouble bringing the ball upcourt against the press. The Rebels converted a flurry of steals into easy layups.
