Five longtime educators in the Kane Area School District are retiring with the end of classes this week.
Florence V. Forquer, 88, a resident of Sena-Kean Manor, and formerly of Kushequa, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Kane Community Hospital.
Born June 15, 1924, in Kushequa, she was a daughter of William and Anna James Transue. On June 20, 1941, at Kushequa Union Church, she married Lester Forquer who preceded her in death.
