Judith Ann Raymondo, 75, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 in Alamogordo, N.M.
She was born June 13, 1938 in Bradford.
Services will be held at a later date.
The Raymondo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation has taken place at PCS.

Wrestlers qualify for tournament

These seven Kane wrestlers qualified for the northwest regional tournament, which will take place at Sharon High School this Friday and Saturday. From left to right are, front row, Austin Hulings, Keaton Rounsville, Evan DeLong; back row, Cody Blankenship, Jon Gelsick, Darren Brown and Austin Woolcock. The top three finishers at each weight class in Sharon advance to the PIAA Championships in Hershey.

Kane hospital upgrades cardiopulmonary unit

Kane Community Hospital now offers a higher level of diagnostic care within its cardiopulmonary department following the recent installation of four new pieces of equipment.     
The new equipment will fortify the hospital's commitment to offering advanced technology and delivering high levels of care to its patients.

Community gathers to honor Benedictine Sisters

An outpouring of love, gratitude and respect for the Benedictine Sisters of Elk County was evident on Sunday during a special community celebration honoring those who have served at St. Joseph Monastery in St. Marys, the oldest Benedictine monastery in the U.S. which is slated to close after 162 years of service.

Seven Wolves advance to regional tourney

CLARION – The Kane wrestling team will be sending seven wrestlers to Friday’s northwest regional tournament in Sharon, including two District 9 AA champions, Evan DeLong and Cody Blankenship.
Joining the two seniors will be Austin Woolcock, Jon Gelsick, Darren Brown, Austin Hulings and Keaton Rounsville.

This volunteer Kane-based organization is dedicated to bolstering the quality of life through the 19 health and human-service agencies it serves.

Loose bricks fall from Fraley St. building

No one was injured Thursday when loose bricks fell from a building wall on Fraley Street in Uptown Kane.
The bricks crashed down and scattered in a parking area at Northwest Savings Bank at 56 Fraley St., Kane. No one was injured.
