Thomas Baker of Lewis Run shot this 7-point buck Monday near the Bradford Airport in Lafayette Township. The 107-pound buck has a spread of 14 1/2 inches. Baker's entry won the consolation prize in the annual "Big Buck Contest" at the Mt. Jewett Sportsmen's Club.

Drew Burdick, 16, of Smethport won the Youth Award in the annual "Big Buck Contest" held Monday at the Mt. Jewett Sportsmen's Club. He also won the award for the heaviest buck, which weighed 150 pounds. The 6-point buck has an inside spread of 13 1/2 inches. Burdick shot the buck in Clermont.

Scott Reynolds (right) of Mt. Jewett and his 10-year-old son, Ronald (left) won prizes Monday in the annual "Big Buck Contest" at the Mt. Jewett Sportsmen's Club. Scott won the Judges' Choice Award with the 8-point buck that has an inside spread of 14 1/2 inches and weighed 109 pounds. Ronald won the prize for the smallest buck with the 6-point he shot. His first buck has an inside spread of 11 1/2 inches and weighed 117 1/2 pounds. Both Scott and his son shot their bucks in the Wildcat area near Hazel Hurst.
