Middle School football scrimmage

A Kane Middle School football player hangs on to a Smethport Hubbers' ankle before his teammates can help out. The young Wolves will open their season next Thursday when they travel to Sheffield. The Wolves' Varsity team will open its season tonight, when the Wolverines come to town. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 pm at Paul R Miller Stadium.

One of the Kane junior varsity football players turns the corner during Friday's scrimmage with Smethport. The Kane coaching staff saw some good things from both the varsity and junior varsity squads, as well as a couple things to work on in the upcoming week. The Wolves open their season next Friday when they host the Sheffield Wolverines.

Coach Ernie Chamberlain's team has a week off until their final scrimmage, then opens their season on Sept. 4, hosting Smethport.

Tornado football camp

July 20, 2012

The Kane Wolves varsity football coaches and team held a two-day camp for the Tornado football team this week. The Wolves coaches lead the Tornadoes through the various positions and drills throughout the camp with the team members lending their expertise to the kids as well. The camp concluded with a “Punt, Pass, & Kick” competition for the different age groups. Winners were presented the “K” letter by Head Coach Silfies.
