Catching fish at Wildcat Park

Andrew Vetter, 12, and Evan Vetter, 10, hold up two of the fish they caught Sunday at the 11th annual Children's Fishing Derby at Wildcat Park near Ludlow. They are the sons of Dave and Sherry Petruney Vetter of Cranberry Township near Pittsburgh. Petruney is a Kane native. The derby is held along Two-Mile Run, which flows through the park.

Brent Long (back) of Youngsville, a member of the professional fishing staff for Yamaha and Lund, conducts a seminar Sunday at the Children's Fishing Derby at Wildcat Park near Ludlow. Sisters Ireland Brusso, 12, and Ellie Mohney, 4, are among the participants at the derby and seminar. They are the daughters of Kenneth Mohney and Sheila Atwell of Ludlow. Kelsey Johnson

Kelsey Johnson, a 2014 Kane High graduate is a member of Clarion University's Girls Track team. Johnson competed at the PSAC Championships last weekend at East Stroudsburg University. Johnson ran on Clarion's 4x400 meter relay team, which finished eighth. The former Lady Wolves standout turned in a PR with a split time of 61.0.
