Six Kane middle school track and field standouts placed at last week's prestigious season ending meet at Altoona's Mansion Park. Chelsea Hunt, right, finished fourth in the 1600-meter run, crossing the finish line in 5:40. The time lowered the KMS all-time seventh grade record that Chelsea set earlier this season. Even more impressive is the fact that she set the new record despite falling during the race. Jake Alcorn was missing at the time of the photo. Alcorn placed eighth in the 200-meter dash.
