Performer of the Week

October 2, 2012

On Sept. 22, the Kane band competed in the Sounds of Autumn band competition in St. Marys. Senior tenor saxophone soloist and co-drum major Kyle McAlee was chosen as performer of the week and received the TOB Chapter XI Showmanship Award. He was chosen from approximately 300 students from nine bands, quite an accomplishment and honor.

Sean Jordan lines up behind his offensive line during Friday's game with Curwensville. The senior quarterback got Kane on the scoreboard with a 34-yard scramble late in the first quarter. The Tide wound up winning the game, however, 36-20.

Sophomore Matt Cecchetti (55) and freshman Tanner Morehead (11) make the tackle for Kane in Monday's junior varsity football game against Otto-Eldred. The Wolves defeated the Terrors by a score of 34-0. The next junior varsity game will be Monday at 6 pm against Ridgway at Paul R Miller Stadium. 

Lady Wolves vs. Lady Owls

The AML opens divisional play this week after three weeks of AML North vs AML South. The 2-1 Kane Wolves will host the 3-0 Brockway Rovers on Friday night in what appears to be a contest of two closely matched teams.
