Vendors at Kinzua Fall Festival

Teresa Ball and Brenda Pisarcik were among the dozens of vendors selling their wares at the Kinzua Bridge State Park Fall Festival. The event, held Saturday and Sunday, drew large crowds throughout the day to the park.

Spencer and Sophie Cornelius from Bradford were among the thousands of people to attend the Kinzua Bridge State Park Fall Festival over the weekend. The two walked out to the end of the bridge to get a good view of the valley.

Damon Davis is pictured at this past weekend's Kinzua Bridge Fall Festival. The Kane Area High School student has been accepted as a People to People ambassador, and is undertaking a number of fundraising ventures to finance his trip. Davis sold some of the pepper jelly that he made himself, along with cupcakes he made with the help of White's Culinary Artistry from Lewis Run.

The Eagle's Dream Rehabilitation Center's booth was one of the most visited at this past weekend's Kinzua Bridge State Park Fall Festival. Large crowds took advantage of the many food and craft vendors to spend an afternoon outdoors at one of the areas most popular attractions.

There was entertainment throughout Saturday and Sunday at the Kinzua Bridge State Park Fall Festival. The band Grover and the Nighthawks is pictured in the above photo. Big crowds enjoyed the activities both days.

Members of the Pennsylvania National Guard were among those attending Saturday's Staff Sgt. Kenneth Van Giesen Memorial Fallen Soldier Tribute Foundation's inaugural Annual Summer Fest on Saturday. The event, held at the Allegheny Mountain Raceway, was enjoyed by hundreds of patrons showing their respect for the fallen Kane soldier and his family and friends. 

Mt. Jewett Rotary hosts Big Brothers/Big Sisters

On a recent Wednesday evening the Mt. Jewett Rotary Club hosted the Annual McKean County Big Brothers Big Sisters summer picnic. The picnic was held at the Mt. Jewett Community Park. The order of business for the evening was great food, games and most importantly lots of fun. For over a century, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been helping change kids perspectives and giving them the opportunity to reach their potential.
