Allie D's ribbon-cutting ceremony

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Friday afternoon at the new site of Allie D's Salon at 305 N. Fraley St. in Kane in the former Kane Feed & Seed. Taking part in the ceremony are left to right: Sue Holt, a member of the Kane Chamber of Commerce board; Nadine Holt, a member of the Kane Chamber of Commerce board; Melanie Clabaugh, executive director of the Kane Area Development Center, which includes the Chamber; Allie DeSio, owner of the salon; Alex Fadenholz, Contractor; Jeff Andrulonis, president of the Chamber of Commerce board; Jill Thompson, who heads the Kane office of State Rep. Kathy Rapp (R-Warren); and Michelle Palmer, vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce.
