Anthony G. Haulik

Anthony G. Haulik, 87, of 100 High Point Dr., passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Kane Community Hospital.
Born Jan. 30, 1925, in James City, he was a son of the late Joseph and Marie Urban Haulik. On Jan. 25, 1949, in Kane, he married Carol Leoffler who preceded him in death.
Mr. Haulik had worked as a credit manager for the Sarasota Herald Tribune in Florida where he had previously resided. He belonged to the D.A.V. and St. Callistus Catholic Church and was a past member of the Kane Elks Lodge.
He served with the U.S. Army during World War II, attaining the rank of Tec 5.
Surviving are his sister, Mary Haulik of Kane; and two nephews, Joseph Haulik of Lady Lake, Fla. and Wallace Haulik of Carlisle.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Haulik Jr; three brothers, Joseph, Leo and John Haulik; and a sister, Rose Elsik.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Callistus Catholic Church, 342 Chase Street, Kane, PA 16735 or the Lutheran Home at Kane, 100 High Point Drive, Kane, PA.
