Arthur Osmer

Arthur Osmer, 73, of 215 Birch St., died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at the Cleveland Clinic.
Born Jan. 30, 1937, in Kane, he was a son of Arthur and Helen Gerarge Osmer. On Sept. 5, 2009, in Kane he married Nancy DeCecchis who survives.
Mr. Osmer had been employed by Coca Cola in Bradford for 25 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW in Coudersport.
He served in the U.S. Marines.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Neil Osmer of Kane; a daughter, Kara (Sam) Parks of Sheffield; a brother, Yogi Osmer of Kane; a sister, Anna Mae Boyd of Indianapolis, Ind.; a half sister, Donna Oakes and a half brother, Dennis Osmer, both of Kane; five step-children, Teri (Robert) Sanchez of California, Robert (Michele) DeCecchis, Richard (Tracey) DeCecchis and Edward DeCecchis, all of Johnsonburg, Rodney DeCecchis of Pittsburgh; and 12 step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Cathy Osmer.
Friends and family may attend a memorial service at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. with The Rev. W. Craig Smith officiating.
