Audrey Perry named to all-star team

Audrey Perry, daughter of Steve and Joanne Perry and a junior on the Kane volleyball team, was named to the D9 AA/AAA all-star team and was elected its Player of the Year for her performance in the 2011 season. Audrey has been a varsity player since her 9th grade year when she became the first freshman on the varsity squad since Liz Johnson in 2000.  She is also the third Wolves volleyball players to be named as the top AA/AAA player of the district since 2000 (Missy Wahlberg in 2000 and Amelia Kepler in 2009). As a middle hitter, Audie accumulated 259 kills (496 career), 36 blocks (90 career), and 115 digs this season.  Audie is also a member of the girls' basketball team and the girls' track team.
