Last week we had a ton of fun with Fawn Miller creating crafty ladybugs and playing ladybug bingo. This Thursday we are going to be joined by Mr. Adam, a local beekeeper, at the Kane Elementary Library. Mr. Adam has been beekeeping for several years and has harvested the honey and wax from his bees to make candles, foot lotion, lip protectant, and how could we leave out ... the liquid honey you may eat at supper. He is very eager to tell and show us what he has learned about bees and how we can take care of them. So, join us from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. All elementary students are welcome, this program is free, and we will have some honey-comby treats for snacks. You can also check out some great books while you are here to help you inch closer in winning the Summer Reading Contest. So, bring your questions and be prepared to have a blast this Thursday, July 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the Kane Elementary/ Middle School Library.
