Bethel Whipple

Bethel Whipple, 83, of Jefferson Street, Warren, and formerly of Chapman Dam Road, passed away on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Whipple was born Aug. 22, 1927, in Warren, the daughter of the late Carl and Belle Bly Larson. Bethel was a graduate of Warren High School and enjoyed her family, fishing, and camping.
She is survived by, four sons, Arthur Whipple and his wife Tonya of Kane, Robert Whipple and his wife Sandy of Millington, Tenn., Michael Whipple and his wife Beverly of Dawsonville, Ga., and William Whipple and his wife Rebecca of Warren; a stepson, Harry Whipple of Erie; a sister, Helen McClelland and her husband Cecil of Findley Lake, N.Y.; 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Whipple, Sr. in 2003, a son John Whipple in April 1995 and an infant son, William James Whipple.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 for one hour prior to a  funeral service to be held there on Friday, Dec. 17,  at 11 a.m., with Rev. Kevin Haley, pastor, Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Warren County, 2 Crescent Park, Warren, PA 16365.
