Betty Lundberg

Betty Lundberg, 86, formerly of Kane, passed away Friday (March 9, 2012) at the Warren Manor where she resided.
     Born March 4, 1926, in Ridgway, she was a daughter of Wayne and Bernice Walker Weirich.  On July 6, 1946, in Kane, she married Paul Lundberg who preceded her in death.
     Betty was a tax collector for Wetmore Township for sixteen years. She also was a member of the former Altar Rosary Society, the Kane Fire Department Auxiliary and a former Girl Scout leader.
     Surviving are three daughters, Chris (Sam) McQueen Borland of Warren, Sue (William) Myers of Coolidge, AZ and Nancy (Randy) Feltman of Falston, MD; two sons, Patrick “Butch” (Sue) Lundberg of Warren and Steve (Carol) Lundberg of Kane; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Pat Rose of Erie; a sister-in-law, Joyce Weirich of Kane; and several nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Michael A. Dunn and Brian McQueen and three sisters, Marilyn Berlin, Kay Weirich and Bonnie Weirich and two brothers, James and Robert Weirich.
     Friends will be received Monday from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor of St. Callistus Church, officiating.  Burial will be at St. Callistus Cemetery.
     Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
