The tight defense by the Rovers led to several early steals which led to baskets at the other end. Once the Wolves were able to get the ball in bounds they were able to penetrate and make some baskets.
The game was a physical one with both teams committing several fouls. The fourth quarter alone saw Kane go to the line 14 times but were only able to connect on seven shots. Brockway shot 10 free throws and hit six. On the evening the Rovers only shot 10-18 while the Wolves were 14-27 from the charity stripe.
