Bob "Robert" Carl Whippo

Bob "Robert" Car Whippo, 70, of Tucson and formally of Kane, went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2012.
Born Aug. 27, 1941 in Kane, he was the son of the late Carl Whippo and Louise Deemer. He was a 1959 graduate of Kane Area High School. He served in the USAF for four years. He had varied jobs throughout his life and finally retired several years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Silvia; three sons and two daughters, Scott (Dawn Skiver) and Shelby (wife Lorie) of Virginia Beach, Va., Shawn of Abingdon, Va., Jessica (Michael) Stafford of Suffolk, Va. and Jamie (Kylie) Howard of Warren. He has nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his twin brothers, Gary and Terry of Sheffield; a sister, Sandy Smith of Leesville, La.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Sandario Baptist Church, 6971 N. Sandario Rd, Tucson, Ariz. 85743 where a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 1 p.m. Arrangements by Desert Rose Cremation & Burial.
