Bonnie L. "Tubby" Weirich, 81, formerly of Walnut Street, Kane, died on her birthday Thursday morning, Nov. 11, 2010 at The Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born Nov. 11, 1929 in Wellsville, N.Y., she was the daughter of Wayne and Bernice Walker Weirich. 
A 1947 graduated of Kane Area High School, she worked for the Kane Shirt Factory briefly, then for Stackpole in Kane for 37 years. 
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kane, the Women's Bowling League for over 40 years and enjoyed her card clubs, friends and her dogs. She also volunteered at The Lutheran Home at Kane.
Surviving are two sisters, Betty Lundberg of Warren and Patricia Rose of Erie, plus many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, are sisters Marilyn Berlin and Kay Weirich, and brothers James and Robert Weirich.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane, and may attend a service there at 1 p.m. on Sunday with the rev. David Pflieger, chaplain of The Lutheran Home, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
