It was a successful first Career and College Night at Kane Area High School.
The event, which was held Wednesday evening in conjunction with open house at the school, gave parents and students a chance to visit with representatives from colleges, industry and the military services.
"It was really a good idea," Phillip Carlson of Mt. Jewett said in commenting on the program in the school gymnasium. "It gives parents the chance to go from table to table to see what's available for their children."
Carlson and his wife, Karen attended the program along with their son, Andrew, a junior at Kane High School.
