Charles Edward Bonini

Charles Edward Bonini, age 81, of Franklinville, N.Y., of Route 16 died Friday, May 25, 2012, at the Pines in Machias following a long illness.
Born Aug. 2, 1930 in Kane, he was the son of William Bonini and Evelyn Lindblade. In 1954 he married Ray Etta Willman; she predeceased him in 1963. On Nov 23, 1963 in Bradford, he married Barbara Anderson, who survives.
“Charlie” was a 1948 graduate of Mt. Jewett High School and worked as a self-employed logging industry and associated with the Johnsonburg paper mills. Many years were followed in career management in the hospitality service industry. He participated in basketball and baseball in earlier years and he loved bowling and golf in his later years. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed leisurely walks with his loving dogs.
Surviving besides his wife Barabara Bonini (Anderson) of 48 years is a son, Tony Bonini of Lakewood, Ohio; four daughters, Darlene Degnan, Karen Frank, Sandi Chapman, all of Rochester, N.Y., and beloved daughter Mary Nella Bonini of Franklinville; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Bonini, of Mt. Jewett.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Rayetta Bonini (Willman), and by a sister, Patti O’Connell.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Franklinville Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Spear officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
