Charles R. "Chuck" Hultman Sr.

Charles R. "Chuck" Hultman Sr., age 74, of 200 Broad St., Brockway, died September 13, 2011 at U.P.M.C. - Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born May 21, 1937, in Kane, son of Charles W. and Viola Anderson Hultman
He was married to Judith A. Runyan, she preceded him in death Oct. 19, 2003
An Episcopalian by faith, Chuck was active as a Little League girls umpire. For many years he was an active member of the Brockway Little League Program. He also coached the Brockway girls seventh and eighth grade basketball team for many years. He coached Local #110 for many years in Teener League. He coached the 1986 13-year-old district champions of Teener League. He loved to follow the Pittsburgh Pirates and never missed a Brockway Rover football game.
Chuck was a U.S. Navy peacetime veteran.
He was retired and had been employed as a Radar Technician for the Federal Aviation Association.
He is survived by two daughters, Beth Hultman and John Koenig with whom she makes her home of Brockway, and Dixie (Greg) Taylor, also of Brockway; one son, Charles (Lori) Hultman Jr. of Brockway; one brother, William Hultman of Kane; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.
Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 16 at 11 a.m. at Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. with Msgr. Charles Kaza officiating.
Place of burial will be St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway.
