Community Thanksgiving service

A community-wide Ecumenical Celebration of Thanksgiving was held Tuesday evening at the Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church on Greeves Street in Kane. Clergy from Kane participated in the service, which was sponsored by the Kane Area Ministerial Association. The group includes, left to right: the Rev. Rebecca Taylor, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Kane; the Rev. David Pflieger, chaplain at the Lutheran Home at Kane; the Rev. Bob Lynch, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Kane; the Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor of St. Callistus Catholic Church in Kane; the Rev. Bill Waterman, pastor of the Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church; and the Rev. Bill LaVelle, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Kane. The Rev. Lynch delivered the sermon. The Tabor Bell Choir performed.
