Curwensville came to town Monday and walked away with an easy 14-3 win over the Kane Wolves.
On a beautiful day for baseball, the visitors from Curwensville wasted no time getting in the scoring column as the first two batters reached base courtesy of a walk and a single. Pitcher Jeff Kocjancic then looked like they were going to get out of the jam as he retired the next two batters, but, Kyle Johns came up with a big single and two runs batted in.Â
Kane again kept their composure and got things going for themselves as lead off batter Tyler Ennis got a single and came around to score the first run for Kane.
Curwensville pitching then controlled the young Wolves hitters as only three batters were able to reach base and two of them were via hit batsman and a walk then a single by Tyler Burdick in the bottom half of the fourth.
