Darlene Duck

Darlene M. Duck, 58, of 106 Clay St., died Monday, March 7, 2011, at her residence.
Born Dec. 30, 1952, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret Wolbert Johnson. On Dec. 19, 1973, in Kane, she married Robert Duck who survives.
Mrs. Duck had been a bar manager at both the Vets Club and the Eagles Club in Kane. She was a loving mother to her children as well as to many others.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three children, James Schreiber of Einhoven, Netherlands, Robynn Duck, and her companion Robert Shaffer, of Warren and Robert Duck Jr. of Kane; six grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Johnson and Robert Johnson, both of Kane and Arthur Johnson Jr. of Smithfield, Mo.; three sisters, Carole Hodgdon of Kane, Barb (Kelly) Faul of Sheffield and Sandra (Ron) Hogue of Kane; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Eric Schreiber; a sister, Patricia VonArx; and a brother, Donald Johnson.
Friends and family may attend a memorial service at the First Church of God, 204 N. Fraley St., at 2 p.m. Friday, with The Rev. Chad Troup, pastor, officiating.
