David Pysnik

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and son David Pysnik, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 12.
He dedicated 37 years to teaching chemistry at Sidney High School, Sidney, N.Y., impacting generations of students. He received multiple national recognitions for teaching and research, and won numerous community service awards. He was a cherished member of the community. His contagious laugh, loving smile, and unconditional kindness will be greatly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Gaby (Lenaway), Class of 1976 Kane High School; mother Madeline Pysnik; children Beth and Pete Kramer, Eric and Hilary Pysnik, Stephen Pysnik, Mary Pysnik and Annie Pysnik; and grandchildren Christian, Andrew and Aiden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church Sidney, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be directed to Sidney Dollars for Scholars, 42 Union St., Sidney, N.Y. 13838. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.landersfh.com.
