In front of a big crowd in the Wolves Den the Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders showed why they will be a team to contend with in the playoffs as they won 38-27 over Kane.
Their pressure defense led to several turnovers and extra possessions on the offense.
They also were able to take the crowd out of the game with the scrappy defense and outhustled Kane. They were quicker to the ball and they anticipated the passes very well.
For a team with not a lot of size they rebound the ball very well as a team. They more than held their own with the taller Lady Wolves on the boards.
