Donald “Moose” E. Garris

Donald “Moose” E. Garris, 73, of 526 Welsh St., died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at his residence.
Born Dec. 17, 1936, in Kane, he was a son of Harry Eugene and Mary Gault Garris. On Nov. 17, 1955, in New York City, he married Rose Marie Castellucia who preceded him in death.
Mr. Garris had been employed as a truck driver for Met Foods. He was a member of the Kane VFW, the Mt. Jewett Legion,The Mt. Jewett Sportsman Club and the Wilcox Sportsman Club.
He also was a veterean, having served in the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving are  three sisters, Lois Spaich of Kane, Linda Ackley of Kane and Betty (Jerry) Mack of Custer City; a brother, David (Nanci) Garris of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.
His wife and parents  preceded him in death.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
The Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
