Donna L. Wiler
Donna L. Wiler, 60, of 2 Chari Ln., Warren, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Hamot Medical Center in Erie. Donna was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on Jan. 15, 1950, a daughter of the late Elizabeth C. (Thompson) and Frederick L. Kelley. She served in the U.S. Marines in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1968. She was retired from her employment as a Sales Associate at J.C. Penneys. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Kane, and attended Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church in Warren. She was a member of the Pleasant Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxillary where she served as Vice President, Warren County Fire Department Auxillary where she served as Vice President. She was a member of the Eastern Star Youngsville Chapter where she was Associate Conductress. She was also a Lady Hornet with the Shrine Club. She belonged to the Silver Sneakers at the YMCA in Warren. She enjoyed outdoor gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was the wife of Eugene "Gene" Wiler whom she married Aug. 22, 1970, in Kane. Also surviving are two sons, Karl L. E. Wiler, of Warren, and Eric F. Wiler, of Youngsville,; a sister, Karen Deanna, of DuBois; two grandchildren, Kelsea E. Wiler and Spencer P.O. Wiler of Midwest City, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Kelley and Frederick Kelley. Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at McKinney Funeral Homes in Youngsville. Friends are also invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 a.m. when a funeral and committal service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3 with Rev. Marcus Briggs, chaplain of the Warren General Hospital and the Rouse Warren County Home officiating.Members of the Order of the Eastern Star Youngsville Chapter #478 will hold their ritual at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening. Burial will be private in Garland Presbyterian Cemetery.
