Donna Mae Guiffrida

Donna Mae Guiffrida, 79, of 28 Long Alley, Ridgway, and formerly of Wilcox, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, 2012 at Kane Community Hospital in Kane following a short illness.
She was born July 1, 1933 in Kane, daughter of the late Paul A. and Kathryn Weidert Dickinson.
She resided in Wilcox most of her life. She had lived a short time in Jamestown, N.Y.
She graduated from Wilcox High School in 1951 and from Jamestown Business College.
She was a member of St. Anne Church in Wilcox. Her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She retired from Alltel after 43 years of service.
She is survived by two daughters, Jo Dee Nearing and her companion Wayne Brechtel of Johnsonburg, and Lisa, Mrs. John Dwyer of Johnsonburg; four grandchildren, Amy McClain, Brandee Cherry, and Dylan and Dani Jo Dwyer; and six great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Jake, Kasey, and Jackson McClain, and Noah and Sofiya Cherry; a brother, Larry Dickinson of Halsey; a nephew, Jason Dickinson and his wife Megan; and a great-niece, Tarryn Dickinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private Funeral Service for Donna M. Guiffrida will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home in Johnsonburg on Thursday, Dec. 20. Officiating will be the Rev. Eric Vogt, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in St. Marys.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Rasselas.
Visitation will be private.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg.
