Driver is killed in 1-vehicle wreck on Route 6

One person was killed and another was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday on Route 6, just west of the former Lobo Inn.
Bernice A. Pierson, age 57, of 511 Barden Brook Rd., Eldred, died in the crash. The injured passenger, Meghan C. Pierson, age 24, of the same address, was flown to Hamot Medical Center in Erie with moderate injuries.
Members of the Kane Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene just one hour after clearing the scene of a tanker truck accident near Fraley and Greeves streets in Kane. The accident resulted in a mandatory evacuation in the borough. No injuries were reported.

KR, did you really have to mention a separate incident/accident while reporting about someone dying in a car crash. Do you think the family and friends of the woman who died care about an accident that had nothing to do with losing their loved one. I understand you're trying to highlight the work your first responders did that day, but you really should keep incidents separate.
