Elk County uses big third quarter to defeat Kane

Kane found itself on the short end Friday night in a 60-39 loss to visiting Elk County Catholic.The Kane Wolves were able to stay with the Elk County Catholic Crusaders the first half despite only shooting five of 16 from the free-throw line. The Crusaders hit a big desperation 3-pointer right before the buzzer of the half to take a six-point lead into the locker room instead of a three-point lead.The Wolves fought hard both ways in the first half but the constant pressure was able to create several turnovers and easy baskets in the second half.
