Ennis’ senior athletic season comes to screeching halt

Most high school senior athletes dream of having a huge senior season, a year when all of their hard work pays off, and they help to propel their team to a winning campaign.
For Kane football player Tyler Ennis, the story didn’t go according to the script. The senior’s touchdown catch and subsequent catch of the two-point conversion in week four tied the score at 14-14 in the Wolves’ game against Brockway with just under eight minutes to play in the second quarter. Less than a minute and a half later, Ennis was trying to tackle Brockway’s Jacob Perrin when the Rover’s leading receiver cut towards the Kane sideline. Ennis planted to follow him, only something went terribly wrong. Ennis went down and was helped to the locker room by trainer Krystal Nuhfer.
